WWE Smackdown Live 14/8/18 | My Coherent Review.

This has been a good week for WWE programming. Smackdown Live was a decent show that had a consistent build towards summerslam. Why you ask? Well i'm gonna give you what's good and what's ok and the reason being is because the show was passable for the most part and none of the segments and matches warrant a bad rating in my opinion. Now, on with the review.

WHAT'S GOOD

Samoa joe's manipulation

I thought this whole manipulation by samoa joe was brilliant in my opinion and the best part about this is that samoa joe made you or this case me, believe for a split second that AJ care about his championship more than his family. Now obviously he isn't like that in real life but adding their history together *cough, cough TNA* and their real life friendship makes this storyline a hell a lot better and one of the reasons why i'm looking forward to that match at summerslam.

The history of the Daniel Bryan and The Miz Feud

The year 2010. The year that i got my first phone, the year that drake better find your loving. But, It's also the year where daniel bryan first had his taste in the WWE banner and became the miz's rookie in NXT and the rest they say is history. I thought that this entire promo package was fantastic and it adds to the overall intriguing feud. Great stuff by WWE.

WHAT'S OK

the opening segment and match

The opening segment was ok but the interesting thing about that segement was Charlotte calling carmella "a diva" and it has some truth to that statement considering that carmella's in ring work is poor.

By the way, this coming from someone who likes carmella as a heel. Or maybe, creative is booking carmella to not take high/big bums and dress like the divas era from before to psychologically manipulate the fans into hating her because of it. I'm by all means, not saying that's what WWE is doing but now that i'm thinking but it, i highly doubt that they're doing this.

The match was fine. The team of Charlotte and becky lynch wins.

Bludgeon Brothers vs local jobbers

This was a squash match. Bludgeon brothers wins.

New Day vs Sanity

Forgettable match in my opinion and i could see why WWE pull the trigger for sanity to lose considering that the new day has to look good going into summerslam. New day wins with the midnight hour.

Aiden English vs Andrade "Cien" Almas

Similar to the bludgoen brother match, this was a squash match. Andrade wins with the hammerlock DDT. After the match, both rusev and lana walks out and basically stated that they're gonna beat andrade and zelina on you guess it, RUSEV DAEEEEEEEEEEEEEY. I for one, think that their match at summerslam is a filler for this aiden english/rusev/lana storyline.

Jeff Hardy Vs Shelton Benjamin

Meh match. Jeff hardy wins with a splash. Not a top rope splash but a regular splash with was an odd finish in my opinion

WWE RAW 16/8/21 | A Coherent Review.

Another week, another L for the red brand in terms of overall quality. And they do not need that L considering that it's the final show before this year's SummerSlam event. Images via WWE.com Randal Keith Orton And Riddal Are Back Together? Randy explained his actions last week, stating that he simply doesn't owe anyone an explanation because he's Randy Orton (okay?). Out came the most obnoxious person in Riddle and he wanted RKBRO to reunite. Styles showed up to hype up his big goof in Omos. That RKO last week was as confusing as the thought of Jupiter Ascending being a "good movie". The question is, did the band realigned themselves once again? The answer was a soft no if you stopped watching the show after the Riddle and AJ Styles match (I don't blame ANYONE that stops watching Monday Night RAW). WWE NXT Takeover: XXV | My Coherent Review.

Look guys, I don't need to tell you this. This was a great show. Now, you're probably be asking "if you don't need to tell me this then why are you to quote yourself, TELLING ME THIS!?" Good question but the reason why is because I like to talk about great pro wrestling. Matt Riddle vs Roderick Strong. An absolute must rewatch match for me and a must watch for you guys if you haven't seen it. Match started off with some amateur wrestling style takedown from both guys. Then, Roderick Strong hit a modified back suplex on the ring apron. By then, Riddle hits Strong with a brainbuster. Riddle had the highlight of that match by hitting Strong with a go to sleep (yes, that go to sleep) into a German suplex with a bridge. Roderick hits a powerbomb pin into a Boston crab then the match ends with Riddle delivered with a move that I wish I knew what the name of it was. WWE RAW 23/8/21 | A Coherent Review.

Monday Night RAW yesterday didn't piss me off so that's nice, I guess. Images via WWE.com Bobby Lashley Confronted By Damian Priest. Damian Priest was like, "You're a coward for relentlessly damaging Goldberg's arm and I want to challenge you for a match" and a pissed off Bobby Lashley accepted the offer. My thoughts after watching the segment was, "Damian's losing clean, right?" Well, I was wrong. The match ended via a DQ due to an attack from Sheamus aka the man that was once called "the great white". Priest got some help from Drew McIntyre. With McIntyre, Sheamus and Bobby Lashley being in the same segment, it's almost like a blast from the past if you're a zoomer that thinks 6 months ago is like 10 years ago (moi). Of course, a tag team match happened and the babyfaces won the encounter with the claymore to Sheamus. I wasn't offended watching all of this unfold and I feel like that's asking too much from WWE...
