WWE Smackdown Live 10/7/18 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown live was a bad show that did nothing as a wrestling fan to gain any excitement for extreme rules. Why you ask? Well i'm gonna give you what's good. No scratch that, i'm gonna give you what's ok and what's bad. Here we go.

WHAT'S OK

The opening segment and the brawl after that

So does SAnitY, and they attack Team Hell No from behind!

The opening segment was meh. And the brawl after that was fine. Didn't make me go "OHHHHHHHHHHH" or anything like along those lines. That brawl leads to a TEN MAN TAG TEAM match (Ummmmmm no shit omar). I will say this, the segment kinda teased the fact that maybe kane will turn on his best friend? I don't know. Should be interesting.

Andrade "cien" almas vs Sin cara

The match was surprisingly decent. At one point andrade delivered a devastating stomp to sin cara on the ring apron. Andrade wins with a running knee to sin cara on the middle rope. Hoping andrade can move on to bigger and better things.

WHAT'S BAD

The main event

The 10-man melee is on!

Daniel Bryan interacting with Eric young was kinda weird considering that daniel bryan had the storyline of overcoming the authority at wrestlemania while young had a similar storyline in TNA depending on who you are. Anyways, the match was ok. The reason why it is on what's bad is because this is sanity's second straight lost which means that's a BOOKING HOLE similar to a plot hole on movies/television shows. And yes they were teaming up with the bludgeon brothers but the problem is eric young young took that pinfall. I get it they wanna make the bludgeon brothers not take the fall instead to make them look good going into extreme rules as tag team champions but i mean, WHY? Why can sanity and the bludgeon brothers actually win this match? I simply don't get it.

This.

I will talk about more about this feud in my predictions post (make sure you follow this blog for that) but this entire feud made asuka look like a FUCKING idiot. Not once in this feud made asuka look somewhat dominate. At least RAW got that aspect of a killing machine right. Look, i like carmella as a heel but even she is better than this.

WHY? WHY? Tell creative it's so boring. WHY? WHY? They will do it anyways.

if you understood this reference. You my friend are amazing. Anyways, the first reason why i don't like it is that the AJ vs nakamura match last night was a wrestlemania rematch according to Tom Phillips which doesn't make any sense because they were FOUR rematches since wrestlemania. The second reason is that the DQ finish caused by rusev and jeff hardy saving AJ  and you guessed it, leads to a tag team match. *sigh*

What do you think about Smackdown live this week? Sound off in the comments below and follow me on the tweets @omar_playa. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE Wrestlemania 37 Night 2 | A Coherent Review.

The second and final night of Wrestlemania 37 was to quote a popular word, "mid".  A few good wrestling matches were the highlight of the night but even then, it didn't stand out as hard as some of the matches the previous night.  ( Check out the review of night 1 here ).  Images via WWE.com The hosts of this year's Wrestlemania made their presence once again and the Hulkster was booed out of the building. That is awesome to hear #F**kHulkHogan.  Randy Orton vs "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt. Randy Orton with white trunks just doesn't feel right to me but it is what it is, I guess.  The Fiend's entrance looked f'ing cool even though the dude has healing powers now like he's Katara from the Last Airbender or some sh*t.  Oh, and the stupid red lights are back! I'm so, so, so, so happy! Just when I thought that WWE got rid of the stupid red lights last year.   Alexa Bliss kinda looked like Senua From the Hell Blade game with the black liquid dripped...

WWE Wrestlemania: Backlash 2021 | A Coherent Review.

Wrestlemania: Backlash or as I like to call it, Backlashimania, gets an enthusiastic thumbs up for me. I enjoyed the hell out of this PPV overall.  Images via WWE.com The opening intro was narrated by the greatest of all time, Batista and it was straight badass despite the fact it was pretty much a promotion for Zack Snyder's new film, Army Of The Dead.  If you've read my about page, then you'll know that I ain't talking about Zack Snyder movies because his fans are…… never mind.  Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair vs Asuka For The RAW Women's Championship.  Charlotte with the Cruella De Vil inspired ring gear was to quote Dolph Ziggler's old theme song, "perfection". The opening bout was fast-paced, high octane action that didn't have a slow/dull moment.  All of these women utilized quick grapples and strikes to their advantage.  Charlotte was this close to capturing the title but she was pushed to the outside, nailed the riptide to Asuka and that...
