WWE RAW 23/7/18 | My Coherent Review.

RAW was once again, a skippable show that did nothing to gain excitement for summerslam. Why you ask? Well i'm gonna give you what's good. Scratch that, I'm gonna give you what's ok and what's bad. Without further a do, on with the review.

WHAT'S OK

My Opinions on WWE Evolution PPV Announcement

Triple H asks the women to step forward...
I'm i excited? No. However, do i completely hate the idea of a all women's PPV? Not at all. What do i mean by this? Well i said on twitter (*cough* follow me on twitter @omar_playa) basically is that this show could be a success or a failure.  Now the women's royal rumble match and the women's elimination chamber earlier this year have been very good so the in ring aspect of that show will do wonders. However, the evolution show will unfortunately be a glorified house show and again i don't mind it but i would like to see a certain storyline progress or add into the evolution show to give me a reason as to why i'm watching this show.

The tag team title rematch

Match was fine. Exactly similar as extreme rules last week in terms of quality. The match ends with cutris pinning matt hardy with a crucifix pin to retain the tag titles. After the match, matt claps his hands to both cutris axel and bo dallas only to get beat up by matt and bray wyatt. I don't care and i hope this feud could get it over with.

Bayley and Sasha are on the same page

This storyline is a roller coaster of emotions in the worst possible ways. One week i was intrigued with the beat down from bayley to sasha, the next week they were in counseling with doctor shellby and i hated it because they turned it into a comedy act. I'm glad they're friends again so that they can rebuild this storyline and hopefully creative does it the right way.

Mickie james vs Natalya

Okay match. The match surprisingly ended with a win by mickie james and i like her armour looking attire.

Bobby lashley vs Roman Reigns

Another decent match. Lashley hitting the spear got me to be honest. The match ends with roman hitting a spear of his own to win the number one contendership to face brock lesnar art summerslam and also repeat the same storyline that they gave us during wrestlemania season *sigh*.

Seth rollins and Finn balor vs Drew Mcintyre and Dolph Ziggler

Decent match. Drew hitting the reverse Alabama slam to finn looked brutal. The match ends with the stomp delivered by seth to dolph to win the tag match. The match before this was a one on one match between drew and finn. The match ended in a DQ because dolph hit a lowblow to finn balor and then seth came to the rescue only for kurt to set up a tag match and i hate this formula. Now the reason why it isn't on what's bad is because both matches were decent but that doesn't mean i should let that aspect go.

WHAT'S BAD

This segment

Now, i was enjoying this segment based on kevin owens's promo and hid reasoning as to why he's befriending with braun strowman but it went downhill from there. Out comes baron corbin assuming that he's announcing something that has to do with this feud and then jinder comes out and teaches braun his inner peace only to get his crap beat out strowman. This made jinder look stupid considering that he has to know what braun is capable of. Now a rematch between braun and owens is announced but if owens beats braun then he hold the money in the bank briefcase and it makes sense considering that he technically beat braun at extreme rules lat week.  Is it a ladder match or a one on one match? Will find out in the coming weeks.

Why is this match happening? I get it creative are giving something for them to do however this is lazy writing at it's best. The match is probably gonna end up on the pre show.

Mojo rawley vs Tyler breeze

If creative is building up mojo rawley as a serious competitor then why is he facing the same opponents over, over, again. He faced no way jose in what it feels like forever and now he faces breeze for the second time in a row. Do you see braun strowman in mid to late 2016 squash the same opponents over and over again? No. So why can mojo squash jobbers like a braun strowman in 2016. Again, i just don't get it even though i like this mojo rawley recenty.

Ember moon vs liv morgan

Just like my opinion on mojo vs tyler breeze, why i'm i seeing this match again? Absolute LAZINESS by wwe creative.

Elias's concert gets interrupted so many times

Elias suddenly decides that he's too repulsed by those in attendance, and he makes his exit.
I get it they're promoting his album but the interruption feels completely unnecessary and doesn't add anything to the overall show. Either have him sing or don't do the whole thing.

Sound off the comments below on what do you think about RAW this week and stay safe smarks.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Overall, this is the best WWE main roster PPV of the year with some bad booking decisions and here's why. By the way, I can't talk about the preshow match because I haven't seen it.  Sasha Banks and Bayley vs Nia Jax and Tamina vs The Riott Squad vs Naomi and Carmella vs Fire and Desire vs The IIconics. Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.  This was a good match. The IIconics eliminated the team of Naomi and Carmella with a double roll up pin by the IIconics to Naomi.  The Iconics then got eliminated by Nia Jax and Tamina with a double Samoan drop and eliminated The Riott Squad with a top rope Samoan Drop from Nia Jax to Liv Morgan and a Samoan Splash from Tamina to Sarah Logan.  Nia Jax and Tamina were eliminated by Sasha banks and Bayley with an elbow drop to Tamina.  The match ended with Sasha used her thigh instead of her arm to apply the bank statement to Sonya Deville and just like that, the boss n’ hug connect...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...

The 5 News Week: An Interview With MLW's Myron Reed, Quick Thoughts On Smackdown.

A rare Saturday edition of 5 news week but if you're new here, I publish this weekly news article every Sunday and the format goes like this.  I report on 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately and I put them in one post.  Yes, there was a lot of news that dropped in a single day but since I'm posting this on Saturday morning, the 4 news this week is before Friday.  Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. An Interview With MLW's Myron Reed.   via MLW Myron Reed has been in the pro wrestling scene since 2016 and picked up an impressive portfolio for himself.  Reed worked with current stars like AJ Gray, NXT's Joaquin Wilde, Matt Cross aka Son Of Havoc, AEW's The Lucha Brothers, Best Friends, and a whole lot more. via MLW So, I asked Reed about his time in OVW and whether being a tag team wrestler was the goal or not?  "Actually, I started in a small town called Central City (In Kentucky...
