WWE RAW 16/7/18 | My Coherent Review.

RAW was for the most part, a skippable show. Why you ask? Well i'm gonna give you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Now let's talk wrestling shall we?

WHAT'S GOOD

The first triple treat match

WWE Photo
Now. The opening segment was a generic as hell other than heyman coming out because he had to address the whole universal title situation. However, the match itself was very good, especially near the end of the match. At one point, finn balor hits roman with the steel chair a couple of time which it would've looked brutal had roman not wear the vest. The match ends with roman hitting the superman punch to mcintyre and then hits a spear to balor winning the match to face bobby lashley. Their match at extreme rules was actually pretty good (you can click here for my in depth thoughts on extreme rules yesterday) and the match next week should be good to watch.

Dolph Ziggler vs Bobby Roode

This was surprisingly, a good match. Their was a zig zag attempt by Ziggler and i thought the match was over but roode kicked out. Dolph wins with the superkick and i'm cautious optimistic about the whole intercontinental championship scene right now.

The Final Triple Treat Match of the Night.

Another good triple treat match. Just like roman reigns, bobby wins here with a spear and like i said earlier the match hopefully is going to be good.

WHAT'S OK

Mojo Rawley vs Tyler Breeze

WWE Photo
Complete squash match for the most part. Mojo wins with the alabama slam. I'm liking this mojo so far and i hope his intensity continues.

B team vs The ascension

WWE Photo
Meh match. The B teams win here and what do you expect really with them facing the ascension? A rematch is announced on RAW next week between B team and the deleter of worlds and yay?

Ronda Rousey wants to destroy Alexa bliss

Overall a decent segment and it's get the job done to root for ronda. The match is offcial folks. Ronda rousey will indeed face alexa bliss for the RAW women's championship at summerslam and i'm kinda interested on how they're gonna do with this build next week.

WHAT'S BAD

Ember moon vs Sarah logan

Now, the match itself was fine but the problem i have with this match is the finish. I feel like ember being not pinned since her main roster run in the long run, gives the general manager or whomever the champion is a reason as to why she's in contention for the RAW women's championship and WWE blew that thing away and it's unfortunate really.

Authors of pain vs Titus worldwide

WWE Photo
I've seen this exact same match with the exact same outcome. Authors of pain wins with the last chapter. I get it their giving them something to do but i would prefer a local jobber squas match then this to be honest.

What the HELL is going on with this Storyline?

The title above say it all. Now the match was fine but i'm not liking this but also confused at the same time. OH MY GOD, the way sasha said "i love you" was worst than anything with roman and brock at wrestlemania season earlier this year. The dialog was fine but the execution was awful. Someone on twitter mention that this a lesbian storyline which i highly doubt it because you can love someone without being a couple if that makes sense.

Sound off in the comments below on what do you think about RAW this week and follow me on twitter @omar_playa. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
