WWE RAW 30/7/18 | My Coherent Review.

RAW was a bad show that for the most part, did nothing to make me excited for summerslam. Why you ask? Well i'm gonna give you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Let's talk wrestling shall we?

WHAT'S GOOD

The feud between Ronda Rousey vs Alexa Bliss so far

The more i'm watching ronda wanna beat the crap out of alexa, the more i'm excited for this match. Seriously, i didn't see that coming because i was one of those people who hated when alexa won the money in the bank briefcase and then cashed in her contract to become the current RAW women's champion. I guess this really paid off in the long run.

WHAT'S OK

Baron corbin vs Finn Balor

Surprisingly a decent match. Disappointingly so, corbin wins with the end of days. Again solid match but in my opinion balor needs the win considering that he needs momentum and him losing clean says otherwise.

Seth rollins vs Drew Mcintyre

Their match couple of weeks ago was so much better. In other words, i was disappointed. Not that the match sucked or anything like that. It's just the match lacked something in it. Seth wins via DQ.

The Revival vs The Deleters of worlds

To be honest, i was in the bathroom and missed most of this match. All you need to know is that like the picture above, the revival wins with the shatter machine.

Sasha and Bayley vs the Riott Squad

Skippable match. The boss and hug connection which clearly is a original name (sarcasm) wins this match. Is this friendship the start of a possible women's tag team division? Will see.

WHAT'S BAD

Elias challenges Bobby lashley to a duet

... and Lashley impresses!
Why is this necessary? I mean, bobby lashley sucks on the mic. What makes you think the guy can actually sing which by the way sucked at that aspect too. A very strange booking by WWE and that made bobby lashley look embarrassing somehow.

Jinder mahal vs Braun strowman

WWE Photo

Jinder mahal wins this match. I repeat jinder mahal wins this match. If jinder has no plans for summerslam, why does jinder win this match? A very head scratching moment like most of this show.

Apollo crews vs Akam

This match ended with apollo winning with the school boy roll up. If i remember correctly, the authors of pain squashed titus and apollo a couple of weeks ago and i understand they giving something for them to do but WWE could've approached it in a creative way. You know, that's what creative exist right?

Let's talk about this storyline

Shout out to frank the clown on twitter for posting this. Pretty hilarious huh? The reason why i hate this angle is one WWE are building sympathy towards roman and hence, trying to get this man over like "Look at brock, he treats heyman like crap. He's a bad man but roman doesn't do that i think? Anyways, cheer Roman". Look, i liked roman when he was WWE champion in 2016 which by the way is the BEST title reign in recent memory and i feel like Roman is one of those characters that you shouldn't feel sympathy towards him. And again, WWE got the roman character right in 2016 and they somehow messed that up.

The 5 News Week: An Interview With ROH's Eli Isom, Fans Singing Petitions For Charlotte Flair Not Winning Titles Anymore!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. An Interview With ROH's Eli Isom.  Yes. After several and several and several of The 5 News Week articles that I've been putting out since late 2018, I finally got an interview for you guys.  The person in question is Ring Of Honour's Eli Isom. Since graduating from the ROH Dojo, Isom has worked and learned from the absolute best in the industry:  "I’m lucky that I got a chance to train from scratch with ROH, without that kind of training who knows where I’d be right now." So, without further ado, here is the conversation I had with Eli.  Omar: My first question is, how would you describe the persona of "Eli Isom" to resident WWE shills like myself? Eli Isom: For me, my wrestling persona isn’t too far off from who I real...

Wrestling With Whiteness | A Documentary Sorely Needed.

Here's the thing. My 2 viewers will know that I've been a wrestling fan for 15 plus years but what they do not know is that I've been a Somali (aka a Black Muslim person) my entire life so talking about this documentary is going to be a little more personal, to say the least.  And look, I know this is the part where I insert my usual wit and fart jokes but you're not gonna see less of that because this is a serious topic (and you know it's serious when I mentioned my ethnicity) about representation and the shared struggle across every single black performer featured in this documentary.  From the press release, Wrestling With Whiteness "focuses on sharing the stories of Black folx and their experience in the wrestling community. Using a combination of interviews with Black wrestlers and Black content creators, Wrestling With Whiteness uncovers the unique experiences of Black people in the industry and the rise of representation for performers and fans around th...

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...
