The 5 News Week: An Interview With ROH's Eli Isom, Fans Singing Petitions For Charlotte Flair Not Winning Titles Anymore!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. An Interview With ROH's Eli Isom.  Yes. After several and several and several of The 5 News Week articles that I've been putting out since late 2018, I finally got an interview for you guys.  The person in question is Ring Of Honour's Eli Isom. Since graduating from the ROH Dojo, Isom has worked and learned from the absolute best in the industry:  "I’m lucky that I got a chance to train from scratch with ROH, without that kind of training who knows where I’d be right now." So, without further ado, here is the conversation I had with Eli.  Omar: My first question is, how would you describe the persona of "Eli Isom" to resident WWE shills like myself? Eli Isom: For me, my wrestling persona isn’t too far off from who I real...

WWE Smackdown 12/6/20 | A Coherent Review.

This episode is going to be known for one thing, the intercontinental championship tournament finals match and that encounter tore the house down.  As far as how I feel about this show overall, it was a decent show.  Is This One Of The Most Controversial Scenes In The History Of WWE?  Look. Getting that line of "one of the most controversial segments in WWE history" isn't exactly rare but first, let me describe this segment. Sheamus wouldn't sign the contract unless Jeff takes a piss test.  Hardy accepts it saying that he's going to be a beacon of light for anyone struggling with addiction.  While Hardy was doing his business, Sheamus gave a public service announcement telling the kids watching at home that simply, don't be like Jeff.  After Hardy was done, he splashed Sheamus with his own urine and the Celtic Warrior was, drum roll please…………………., pissed (I'm so awful). Is it the most controversial segment ever?  Hell no. Howev...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Tick Tock For Adam Cole As NXT Champion, A Great Debut Match For FTR!

Simply put, NXT was a better show than AEW Dynamite in my opinion. That second hour except for the main event from Dynamite was rough.  By the way, Dasha Gonzalez aka Dasha Fuentes' interviews is universally better in the backstage segments on Dynamite than she ever did in WWE on the Smackdown backstage interviews.  NXT     Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Johnny Gargano And Candice LeRae vs Mia Yim And Keith Lee.  Probably one of my favourite mixed tag team matches I've seen in quite some time. That match, by the way, had the closest thing to intergender wrestling in WWE.  This was a fun tag match. LeRae hits Yim's own move with Seoul Food and a springboard moonsault but Mia survives that.  The match ended when Candice LeRae was knocked out after Gargano delivered one final beat to Keith Lee that had Lee land on Candice.  That was all a swerve as she distrac...
