WWE NXT 11/5/21 | A Coherent Review.

Hey, look. Another enjoyable 2 hours of professional wrestling television courtesy of the black and gold brand.

Karrion Kross vs Austin Theory.

Austin Theory showed off his impressive strength with that fall away.

Kross then pulled off multiple back suplexes followed by vicious forearm strikes on Austin's back neck area which led to Karrion locking in the Kross jacket to win the match.

This bout surprised me. I expected it to be a total squash but the yellow brand did a solid job on creating a coherent match (pun intended). Both guys were very profound in this exhibition.

After the match, Finn Balor challenged Karrion Kross to a title match and the champ agreed.

I enjoyed their first clash at Takeover: Stand And Deliver so I do not mind a rematch at all.

Msk vs Breezango.

A decent showcase of Msk in what is an alright match.

Some banter was played from Msk's Nash Carter which I smiled for a bit, not gonna lie. Msk were victorious in this, pinning Tyler Breeze.

Johnny aired his frustrations on NXT GM William Regal, saying that his title match with Bronson Reed is completely unfair.

Later in the night, Gargano as well as his "The Way" stablemate, Austin Theory, attacked Bronson Reed and in a backstage promo, Reed made sure that they will be hell to pay next week.

I hope he defeats Gargano for the championship because HE AND THE REST OF THE WAY CONVINCED (and quite frankly) BRAINWASHED INDI HARTWELL TO NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH DEXTER LUMIS. I'M STILL NOT OVER THIS EVEN A MONTH LATER!

(To all my new viewers, I'm clearly joking but for real though).

Pete Dunne vs Leon Ruff.

In a clip that was released on WWE's website as well as their social media profiles before the show, Leon Ruff wasn't allowed to compete on this week's edition of NXT by NXT GM William Regal.

Pete Dunne cut a promo about how he's the baddest man in NXT and proceeded to call out anybody that "would prove me wrong."

Ruff attacked Dunne *Michael Cole's voice* from behind which led to the creation of this match.

The justification as to why both men wanted a fight, made a lot of sense.

I wish that this was an actual feud being written and not a few-minute squash match but it is what it is, I guess.

Raquel Gonzalez vs Mercedes Martinez For The NXT Women's Championship.

The decision of airing this championship encounter, felt a little too soon but I'm just nitpicking.

The match was fine. Gonzalez retained the women's championship.

All of the questionable booking for this feud and now, on top of the ending of this match, the rivalry, in general, was pretty flat and mediocre in my opinion.

Isiah Swerve Scott introduced a stable that includes AJ Francis, Ashante Thee Adonis and Briana Brandy called "Hit Row".

NXT, with the exception of Imperium and Legado de La Fantasma, doesn't have a major stable like an Undisputed Era anymore so I don't hate it at all.

They're finally doing something that is noteworthy with Isiah Swerve Scott and while I prefer him to be on the good side of things, I can't complain about it.

So, Ted Dibiase screwed Cameron Grimes once again by outbidding Grimes regarding buying an expensive a** house. Are the skits getting old? The answer is simple, NO!

Zoey Stark is looking forward to beating up Toni Storm. She noted during the promo that she was a fan of Toni Storm, at one point.

This is a type of continuity that I actually appreciate even though I'm not too keen on the feud.

Kyle O'Reilly vs Oney Lorcan.

The encounter was fine. But, what happened after it was special.

O'Reilly defeated Lorcan and Pete Dunne immediately attacked O'Reilly, giving him and Lorcan a 2 on 1 advantage.

The advantage didn't last long as the returning Bobby Fish showed up to the rescue.

The appearance of Fish alone is one of the best things on this episode. Fingers crossed that Fish isn't written to betray Kyle O'Reilly.

Kushida vs Santos Escobar For The Cruiserweight Championship In A Two Out Of Three Falls Match.

A fun main event encounter as a whole and that's all I gotta say about that.

With Santos Escobar taking the L once again, I'm hoping this leads to Escobar being put in the main event scene and we've seen glimpses of that with his awesome bout with Karrion Kross several weeks back.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Karrion Kross vs Austin Theory, Cameron Grimes skits, the reveal of Isiah Swerve Scott's stable, Bobby Fish's return, the use of continuity in the Zoey Stark and Toni Storm feud.

Didn't like: The ending of the Raquel Gonzalez and Mercedes Martinez championship match felt flat.

WWE RAW 10/8/20 | A Coherent Review.

This episode when it's good, it is REALLY good but when it's awful, it is REALLY awful. A mixed bag of a show, to be honest. pictures via WWE.com Two Contract Signings? For the first time at least in my lifetime, there are two contract signing for the same one match. Anywho, it's for the Seth Rollins and Dominik Mysterio match and Samoa Joe is the moderator which by the way, he's the best one yet. Based on Seth's promo telling Mysterio's Hijo that he can use a kendo stick or anything in the toolbox, it sounds like it's a no DQ match. The best part about this engaging segment by far is Joe's promo about how Seth Rollins was a different man ever since the fans booed him. Dominik's line quote, "Seth Rollins' actions change the lives of good men for the worst" pretty much describes Seth's heel run so far and I love it. That led to a match between Humberto Carrillo and Rollins. The match was quick af. Af...

WWE RAW 7/1/19 | My Coherent Review

My first RAW review of 2019 and surprisingly, this show was decent. Now, would RAW put on decent shows in the coming weeks or months? Probably not but I hope that's the case. Now, usually on my RAW and Smackdown Live reviews, I give my thoughts on what's good, what's ok and what bad ( click here if you curious as to how the format looks like). However, since this is the new year, I'm gonna get rid of that and instead just put my in-depth thoughts just like my PPV reviews. Without further ado, on with the review.  Opening Segment The show itself started off with a brawl between Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley that lasted for a very short period of time. After that’s done, the opening segment started with John Cena and cuts a promo on how he’s gonna earn his golden ticket to Wrestlemania by entering in this year’s Royal Rumble match.  Out came Drew McIntyre and he said that Cena’s accomplishments is what Drew cares about. He then went on how he’s b...

WWE Smackdown Live 11/9/18 | My Coherent Review.

Smackdown live was overall a good show. Why you ask? Well, I'm gonna tell you what's good, what's ok and what's bad. Here we go.  WHAT'S GOOD Jeff Hardy vs Shinsuke Nakamura The promo before this was okay however that was a goooood match. Better than their in counter at SummerSlam. Jeff was about to beat Nakamura, however, randy outta nowhere pushes hardy on the outside hence Nakamura retains the championship and Jeff wins via DQ. They had a brawl that was better than the brawl last night on RAW I'll tell you that much.  Samoa Joe telling a bedtime story in a good not boring way.   I thought from the editing to the design of the book to the way Samoa Joe express the story was fantastic. The thing I LOVE about this is that it's a outside in the box type of promo package that worked. Man, I can't wait for this match. On Sunday night when the PPV airs, I think I'm gonna call my local "WENDYYYS" (My goodness that was awfu...
