WWE RAW 5/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

I have not said this in a RAW review in a very long time but the show as a whole was straight up dogsh*t awful.

It's so bad that I didn't like one ounce about this program.

Randy Orton Remembers His Match At Clash Of Champions.

The show started off with Randy Orton recalling certain aspects about the WWE championship match at Clash Of Champions.

Orton goes on to say that Drew doesn't deserve the championship because the legends interfered in the ambulance match.

The promo ended with Orton bringing up the fact that he beat up four legends last week on RAW (again, explain the physics behind this?).

Drew showed up and he laid waste on the guy.

Randy has been quite exceptional in the dialogue department but this ain't it.

The promo actually put me to sleep and the show didn't even hit 10 minutes up until that point.

If they suddenly end the rivalry like nothing happened, while it doesn't make sense, I'm all for it because I'm over this feud.

Asuka, Mandy Rose And Dana Brooke vs Zelina Vega, Natalya And Lana.

This was meh. Rose led her team to victory with the kick on Lana.

After the match, the women's tag team champions attacked both Lana and Natalya.

Not Interested in this feud to be honest so that didn't do much for me.

R Truth did a mock draft with "little Jimmy" to which Drew Gulak disguised as a janitor, pinned R Truth to become 24/7 champion.

Later in the night, R Truth, Drew Gulak and Akira Tozawa fought inside the big trash bin which is a visual representation of how I feel about the 24/7 championship stuff as of late.

Somehow, R Truth regained the championship.

In another backstage segment, MVP offered Mustafa Ali, Apollo Crews and Ricochet to join the Hurt Business.

Is Mustafa going to join the Hurt Business or join a familiar stable?

Seth Rollins And Murphy vs Dominik Mysterio And Humberto Carrillo.

Speaking of feuds that needed a conclusion.

Murphy wanted an apology from Seth not for himself but for Aliyah.

Rollins then scolded Murphy saying that he should know his place.  Messiah in Seth Rollins. Disciple in Murphy.

Dominik Mysterio and Humberto Carrillo rushed to the ring and the tag match went underway.

By the way, Humberto got an absolute tan and gained some muscle.

Shout out to him I guess?

Despite some miscommunications, Murphy hits the knee on Humberto to win the match.

Murphy left Seth Rollins high and dry.

After the commercial break, Murphy was given a deadline of an hour to apologize to Seth. Coooool.

Adam Pearce refused to give Braun Strowman a match because he's a Smackdown guy.

But, he would give Strowman an exhibition. Keith Lee showed up and told Pearce to sign him up.

So, Adam didn't want to give the big guy a match but then at the same time, he would? Huh?

KO Show. Special Guest, Bray Wyatt.

Kevin Owens is all fired up to "chat" with The Fiend.

Wyatt did show up via the firefly funhouse and he wanted to sing a song with Owens about "friends".

Kevin immediately called it off demanding Wyatt to show up to the ring.

Bray basically said no and Owens wanted to go after him.

As Owens reached the stage area, Aleister Black kicked Owens' head off with the black mass.

Why's Owens feuding with two people?

Don't get me wrong, I like the story they're telling with Black and Owens but damn, make up your mind, WWE!

In an interview with Charly Caruso, Drew McIntyre accepted Orton's Hell In A Cell match challenge for the WWE championship.

Braun Strowman vs Keith Lee.

The match ended via a count-out. They then had a bit of a post-match fight.

Another bout that ended in no contest for Keith Lee.

When will the guy get a clean win again on the main roster?

Bianca Belair showed off her intelligence in the latest vignette of hers.

When. Am. I. Going. To. See. Her. Wrestle?

The Hurt Business vs Apollo Crews, Ricochet And Mustafa Ali.

They had a pre-match promo which was so tiresome that I didn't feel like describing it.

Another match that involved The Hurt Business and Apollo Crews, Ricochet. *Major sigh*.

The Hurt Business wins.

I hope this is the last we see The Hurt Business face against Crews and Ricochet.

Did Murphy Apologize To Seth Rollins?

The disciple was thinking AND thinking AND thinking as Seth was telling him about the moments they've had together.

Seth was shouting at Murphy to apologize and that led to a beatdown from Murphy to Seth with the kendo stick.

After Seth said he's sorry to Aliyah, Murphy stood there and Rollins attacked the hell out of him.

Aliyah came to the rescue and the rest of the Mysterio family convinced her to abandon Murphy.

I would've liked the beatdown from Murphy had he didn't suffer from dumb babyface syndrome and took Rollins' apology to heart.

A potential star-making segment from Murphy that was squashed terribly.

Nia Jax And Shayna Baszler vs The Riott Squad For The WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax retained. The match was bleh.

MVP vs Mustafa Ali.

You thought this was over? Pffft. The ending was from outta nowhere.

Retribution showed up and Mustafa left the ring because he is part of Retribution all along as the leader.

For a show that was pretty bad, this is an ending that I'm open-minded of.

Also, I wonder what kind of name WWE is giving Mustafa Ali now that he's the leader of Retribution.

Drew McIntyre And The Street Profits vs Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler And Robert Roode.

Randy Orton pinned Drew to win the match thanks to an RKO. Coooooooooooool.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Nothing.

Didn't like: Pretty much everything.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
