AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter.

Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.

Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.

A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.

What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.

Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.

It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac.

I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?

Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of either winner of the number one contender match. Don't f**k it up, Tony!

Cody Rhodes vs QT Marshall.

Those two guys didn't waste any time brawling with each other.

They had a good old fashioned wrestling match sprinkled in with some offensives from Arn Anderson to QT Marshall and I enjoyed it.

In other words, this is a wrestling fan's match (not trying to be a gatekeeper. I'm just stating that it's a good call back to the matches of 30/35 years ago).

After Cody Rhodes defeated QT Marshall, Rhodes took a beating from Anthony Ogogo thanks to the least controversial move in wrestling.

In a backstage interview with Alex Marvez, Scorpio Sky said, "Riddle me this, riddle me that, who's afraid of the big, black bat?" Obviously referring to Sting.

Out of ALL movies Scorpio has quoted, why Batman Forever? Sky could've used a  quote from a much superior Batman movie aka Batman And Robin.

Darby Allin interfered in the backstage interview but that came at a cost as he was thrown on to concrete stairs.

Britt Baker squashed a local competitor named Julia Hart and there's nothing to write home about.

The Jurassic Express vs SCU vs The Acclaimed vs Varsity Blondes. Winner Faces The Young Bucks For The AEW World Tag Team Championship Next Week.

A decent match overall. Side note, The Acclaimed's Max Caster needs to chill with his weekly disses like sheeesh, they were brutal.

SCU picked up the victory and will go on to face The Jackson brothers for the tag belts.

A video promo had aired about Jonny Mox's match with Yugi Nagata for the IWGP United States championship.

I am the resident WWE shill but this one actually made me look forward to the title bout next week.

The power of video packages, am I right?

Miro is challenging Darby Allin for the TNT championship on next week's episode of Dynamite.

Miro's portrayal as a beast has been nothing more than fantastic. This is the Miro I've been wanting since his arrival last year.

It Is Time For BLOOD AND GUTS And……………..

It was…….fine. The blood was definitely there in this match. The "guts'' part? Well, that's a definite no.

The bad guys prevailed at the end due to the rest of the Inner Circle surrendered after witnessing MJF wanting to push Chris Jericho through the entrance ramp but the kid did it anyway.

I wanna briefly talk about people's reaction to Chris Jericho's bump from the top of the cage.

Yes, I do believe that the spot could've used a better camera angle.

However, the way people on Twitter reacted to the spot was TOO overblown like as if the world is about to end.

Mistakes happen during production especially when you're filming a live televised event on a weekly basis.

Also, to all the people that were mad at Shotzi Blackheart's tweet, it's just wrestling guys. It ain't that deep.

Also, also, to all the people that LITERALLY WANTED a 50-year-old Chris Jericho falling on concrete, one, y'all are INSANE and two, it's just wrestling. It ain't that deep.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Cody vs QT Marshall, the video package for the Jon Moxley and Yugi Nagata match.

Didn't like: The odd booking decision early in the Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa match, the ending of the Blood And Guts match could've utilized a better camera angle.

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

Let's Talk About The State Of Wrestlemania 37.

I usually save those kinds of pieces for my weekly news series, The 5 News Week due to how modern this subject is and how my essays usually dwell on the past.  Usually, it is too early to talk about an upcoming Wrestlemania in October but not this time especially since we're still in a pandemic.  This is a topic I've been thinking about all month and I had to write my thoughts on it.  Let's answer this question right away whether Wrestlemania 37 will happen in SoFii stadium next year?  from CBS Los Angeles The answer is an obvious no. But, I want to try to dig deeper and see exactly where we stand today.  As of me writing this, Wrestlemania: Hollywood edition is still scheduled to take place in SoFi stadium despite an outlet that shall not be named, claiming otherwise.  This is either sheer blind optimism or downright idiotic from Dubya, Dubya E.  WrestleVotes did mention back in July that while the event is still going to take place in the stadium,...
