WWE Smackdown 9/4/21 | A Coherent Review.

Wrestlemania Smackdown aka a night of video packages and good promos.

This episode was pretty good. So good in fact that I don't have any negatives for this show.

Daniel Bryan Is Excited For Wrestlemania.

Why? Because it's Wrestlemania season and the fact that he can finally hear the live crowd once again at Raymond James stadium.

He went on to state that in his entire career, Bryan has been told "NO! NO! NO!" and him looking at his true self is how he started to say, "Yes! Yes! Yes!"

The dialogue ends with Daniel Bryan saying that he's going to get the best Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania.

This promo really told you who Daniel Bryan is as a persona and why he's in the main event position at the so-called "show of shows".

In other words, I loved every single word of that promo and its meaning.

Rey And Dominik Mysterio vs The Street Profits vs Chad Gable And Otis vs Dolph Ziggler And Robert Roode For The SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

A brawl ensued before the referee rang the bell. The match itself was surprisingly, really freaking good.

I do appreciate the blue brand is at the very least, are showcasing their tag team division even though the main roster hates tag team wrestling (I say main roster because NXT's tag team division is improving).

At the end of the match, Montez Ford delivered a frog splash on Chad Gable and Robert quickly tagged himself in the match, threw Ford out of the ring, pinned Gable to retain the blue belts.

In an interview with Kalya Braxton, Bianca Belair noted that her nervousness shows that she cares and as long as she isn't scared, the EST of WWE can do anything. A decent promo.

Speaking of decent promos, Big E cut a promo about reconnecting his home city in Tampa and at Wrestlemania, Apollo Crews' intercontinental championship dreams will die.

Nia Jax vs Tamina.

Nia Jax aka somebody that I don't get why she's so damn protected of all characters.

And this match proves my point. The match ended with a DQ due to Shayna Baszler attacking Tamina *Michael Cole's voice* from behind.

In relation to the women's tag team championship scene, all of the competitors in the tag team turmoil match brawled but the team of Natalya and Tamina stood tall.

Edge Sits In The Ring, Talking About Wrestlemania.

Edge talked about how his WWE dreams started out watching Wrestlemania 6.

He then highlighted Daniel Bryan and how he's using sympathy to get into the main event of Wrestlemania (Edge called Bryan an indie troll which was funny).

Edge called Roman Reigns "the Samoan Edge" because he's been in a 3 man group and uses a spear as his finisher (didn't recall Roman Reigns having sex on an episode of Monday Night RAW but the comparison is fair, I guess).

The promo ended with Edge promising that he will walk out of Raymond James stadium as THE universal champion.

Hey, that was a good promo. His motivations made sense although I wish he didn't turn heel because I like good guys with layers and grey areas.

That Seth Rollins ad about Cesaro was f'ing hilarious.

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Honestly, this is sad that all of these talented guys aren't going to be showcased on Wrestlemania at the very least.

You mean to tell me that y'all don't have ANYTHING for Ricochet? *Major sigh*.

But hey, Jey Uso actually won a match in a meaningless battle royal bout which is long overdue.

Roman Reigns Says That He'll Show Up And Win At Wrestlemania.

Reigns said that whenever he shows up, WWE is winning and how he's a valuable asset to world wrestling entertainment.

Roman then added that he'll destroy the dreamers in Edge and Daniel Bryan because like his catchphrase, he'll wreck everyone then leave.

I think all of the promos between Roman Reigns, Edge and Daniel Bryan are related in some way in the sense that they're telling the audiences who each guy is as a persona.

All 3 men did a great job on the dialogue side of things.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The promos from Roman Reigns, Edge and Daniel Brya, The fatal four-way match for the tag team championship, the Seth Rollins ad.

Didn't like: Nothing.

WWE Extreme Rules 2019 | My Coherent Review.

Man, I'm impressed with WWE in terms of PPVs as of late because overall, this was a fantastic show in my opinion with great matches but the crowd was dead for most of the show so that sucks.  I finally watched the pre-show match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura before I went to bed because the show aired at 2 am where I live and it was okay.  By the way, how interesting is it when on last year’s Extreme Rules show, Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States championship and now this year’s show, he won the intercontinental title. Also, it's funny that the intercontinental championship was the main event on last's year show and on this year's Extreme Rules PPV, it's on the preshow.  Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns and The Undertaker.  Mike Rome did better in announcing "The Best In the world" this time than on RAW. Mike Rome's announcement a few weeks ago sounded like that one friend that thinks he/she knows how to ...

NXT Takeover: In Your House 2020 | A Coherent Review.

NXT Takeover: In Your House is like the rest of the Takeover shows, a fantastic 2 hours of professional wrestling.  What makes this show special is the additional nostalgia like how the show started with the NXT WWF inspired intro, the ice cream commercial narrated by William Regal doing his best Lord Alferd Hayes impression, icopro commercial and last but not least, Todd Pettengill.  This is a show that I'm definitely rewatching in years to come.  Mia Yim, Tegan Nox And Shotzi Blackheart vs Raquel Gonzalez, Candice LeRae And Dakota Kai.  A decent opening match. During the match, Nox did a Molly Holly top rope on to every competitor in the match.  Yim tried to give LeRae some Seoul Food but LeRae reversed that into a suplex. Several minutes later, Shotzi did a Salida Del Sol of some sort on Gonzalez to which Nox delivered the shiniest wizard on Kai and won the match.  Finn Balor vs Damian Priest. I actually thought that the closing mo...

The Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Holy Sh*t, The Revival Are All Elite, Matt Riddle vs Timothy Thatcher In A Unique Steel Cage Match.

Both shows had its weak points but overall, that was an enjoyable 4 hours of professional wrestling television. I personally liked AEW Dynamite this week.  From an awesome women's match with Shida and Christi Jaynes to The Revival showing up, AEW managed to give me a solid episode and successfully furthered their storylines to next week's exciting show.  NXT   Highlights (at least in my opinion because wrestling is subjective).  Kushida vs Drake Maverick vs Jake Atlas. Triple Threat Match Interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament.  What a way to kick off this episode of NXT, am I right? Atlas delivered the rainbow DDT but Kushida broke Jake's pin.  Speaking of Kushida, he nailed the armbar submission, however, Drake pinned Atlas because Atlas' shoulders were on the mat and will meet El Hijo Del Fantasma for the finals next week.  I don't know if Drake is rehired or he's going to be rehired but Maverick has a big ta...
