WWE RAW 5/4/21 | A Coherent Review.

I've been writing about wrestling as a hobby for 3 years now and this Wrestlemania season has been the WORST mania season I've ever covered.

Not one match on the card gave me the "so excited that I can't sleep" type of feeling.

I had to remind myself that this episode is the f'ing Monday Night RAW show before Wrestlemania 37.

Why? Because this episode was as per usual, pretty f**king lame aside from some good promos from a few superstars.

Bad Bunny Showed Up To Monday Night RAW In A Bugatti To Which……

The Miz and John Morrison painted on the Goddamn Bugatti because they're "artists" according to the former tag team champions.

Moments later, Bad Bunny looked at his car with angrier on his face but he was immediately attacked *Michael Cole's voice* from behind by the two goofballs.

Later in the night, Damian Priest challenged Johnny Nitro and The Miz to a tag team match at Wrestlemania.

Bad Bunny cut a passionate promo about his love for this business and ended the dialogue with a threat saying that he may not be a pro wrestler but he will beat The Miz up.

Aye yo, Bad Bunny's dialogue work here is great. I ain't mad at the decision of turning the singles bout between Bad Bunny and The Miz into a tag team match.

Drew McIntyre Aims To Defeat The Almighty Bobby Lashley.

Speaking of great dialogue work and passionate promos. The Scotsmen talked about his sacrifices to get to the absolute top.

However, out came Bobby Lashley and he reminded Drew McIntyre that one person is walking out of Wrestlemania 37 as WWE champion.

They then tease a possible brawl but MVP noted to both guys that they can do the beating this Saturday.

King Corbin with the unnecessary appearance, warned Drew that he'll whomp Drew's a**.

Lashley has cut probably one of the best promos I've ever heard from that man and his weak point has always been his execution of promos.

Xavier Woods vs AJ Styles.

Before the match, The New Day and Riddle had a talk about weed and whether Omos will be able to get high. Meh.

A rematch from last week and it was decent.

How the match ended was to be expected on WWE programming which is, distraction roll-ups.

Xavier Woods won the match with an inside cradle.

Braun Strowman vs Elias And Jaxson Ryker.

There was a segment prior to this match involving Braun Strowman's "inspiration speech" of him fighting for everyone that has ever been called stupid (aka everybody).

Strowman defeated both competitors with ease although he did struggle with handling Elias and Jaxson Ryker a bit at the start of the encounter.

Asuka And Rhea Ripley vs Nia Jax And Shayna Baszler.

*Major sigh* So, the RAW women's champion took an L and look, I understand that Baszler hasn't grabbed some wins as of late but why pin the women's champion of all people?

Rhea Ripley attacked Asuka and that led to the women's tag team champions taking the W.

God, I hope Rhea doesn't come out of the ending as a full-fledged heel because that turn is not needed AT ALL.

Going back to the women's tag team champions, they encountered the participants in the tag team turmoil match at Wrestlemania that included a funny bit from Billie Kay bringing her resume.

A backstage segment saw Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin calling MVP a parasite. Again, I ask, why break up the Hurt Business?

Bobby Lashley vs Cedric Alexander.

The match was solid. Cedric delivered some offence but it wasn't enough to defeat Bobby Lashley as the WWE champion won the match with the Hurt lock.

Riddle vs Mustafa Ali.

This match was fine. Riddle picked up the victory with the Broderick.

Drew McIntyre vs King Corbin.

Another middle of the road bout. McIntyre wins with the Claymore kick.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and Bad Bunny's promo work.

Didn't like: Asuka taking the L before the RAW women's championship match at Wrestlemania.

WWE RAW 7/1/19 | My Coherent Review

My first RAW review of 2019 and surprisingly, this show was decent. Now, would RAW put on decent shows in the coming weeks or months? Probably not but I hope that's the case. Now, usually on my RAW and Smackdown Live reviews, I give my thoughts on what's good, what's ok and what bad ( click here if you curious as to how the format looks like). However, since this is the new year, I'm gonna get rid of that and instead just put my in-depth thoughts just like my PPV reviews. Without further ado, on with the review.  Opening Segment The show itself started off with a brawl between Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley that lasted for a very short period of time. After that’s done, the opening segment started with John Cena and cuts a promo on how he’s gonna earn his golden ticket to Wrestlemania by entering in this year’s Royal Rumble match.  Out came Drew McIntyre and he said that Cena’s accomplishments is what Drew cares about. He then went on how he’s b...

The 5 News Week: The Current Plan For Eva Marie According To Reports.

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor pro wrestling news, rumours and spoilers of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  Without further ado, here are the 5 news week.  What’s Going On With The ShowBuzz Daily Website!? Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer has expressed concern regarding Showbuzz Daily not posting the daily TV rating due to technical issues stating (from Cagesideseats ) "all wrestling companies, TV companies, sports stations, etc. looked to that site for numbers.” The owner of the Showbuzz Daily entity, Mitch Metcalf, took to the blue hell that is Twitter and said that they can't add content to the site anymore over a shutdown that isn't clear as to what caused the shutdown itself.  Metcalf went on to highlight that due to operating the site without generating revenue, the cost and time to bring back the site has made him think about the future of ShowBuzz Daily.  Is...

WWE Super Showdown 2020 | My Coherent Review.

Super showdown 2020 was dull, boring and even frustrating at times. The two previous Saudi shows from last year were surprisingly okay but this was just a flavourless taste in my mouth and this is coming from the resident WWE shill. By far, the worst PPV of 2020 so far.  PRESHOW: The Viking Raiders vs The O.C. In Luke Gallows And Karl Anderson.  A skippable match that we've seen for the gazillionth time. Yay for unwanted repetition! The O.C wins. Cool.  MAIN-SHOW: AJ Styles vs. Andrade vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Erick Rowan vs. R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio. Gauntlet Match for the Tuwaiq Trophy.  R Truth and Bobby Lashley started off this match and Truth wins via a roll-up. Lashley then attacks R Truth (like we've not seen that spot before) to which out came the second opponent of the night, the returning Andrade and the way that encounter ended was odd yet somehow not horrible.  Both men hit each other with their heads and Truth pins the guy to keep fight...
