WWE NXT 20/4/21 | A Coherent Review.

Hey look, another great episode of NXT. Ever since NXT moved to a different night, the show feels to quote Outkast, "so fresh, so clean". The quality of the yellow brand's programming has definitely risen.

However, that is not to say that NXT wasn't good before the move to Tuesdays.

Kyle O'Reilly Returns After His Encounter With Adam Cole.

Kyle O'Reilly or as autocorrect would call him, "Kylie O'Feilly", spoke about, of course, his brutal bout with his former best friend Adam Cole and how he's going to move on.

O'Reilly then referenced the fact that Karrion Kross has what's his and that is the NXT championship.

Out came Cameron Grimes and offered him to make some mula together. O'Reilly said yes only for the guy to strike Grimes right on the money maker.

Kyle legit dressed like a teenage boy that hates going on vacations with his family.

O'Reilly's comedic timing with Cameron Grimes is what made this segment so good.

Kyle is one of the rare cases where he can execute WWE's terrible comedy pretty well.

LA Knight vs Dexter Lumis.

Indi Hartwell's affection for Dexter Lumis is what cost Lumis the match. At least LA Knight actually won a damn match.

Hartwell was about to kiss that man but The Way prevented that from happening. An A-hole move from The Way.

In a backstage promo, Leon Ruff is sick of Swerve Scott's beatdown against him.

Io Shirai had an interview with Beth Phoenix and Shirai said that she's taking some time off. Franky Monet made that interview awkward and Io with the line of the night said, "I LIKE CATS!"

I like how the interview itself was heavily edited and the reason being that is that it didn't expose her English skills although she is getting better in that department.

Breezango vs Grizzled Young Veterans.

James Drake faked a knee injury which was a way for Zack Gibson to poke Fandango's eye (a classic heel tactic that doesn't get old).

The match concluded with a W from the Grizzled Young Veterans. A decent match.

Sarray vs Zoey Stark.

An anticipated debut from a talented individual that resides in the land of the rising sun. The question is, did Sarray deliver? I would say so.

That dropkick from Sarray to Stark was brutal. Sarray defeated Zoey Stark with a modified back suplex of some sort.

Toni Storm attacked Zoey Stark because she does heel things I guess.

In a backstage interview with McKenzie Mitchell, Raquel Gonzalez reminded the entire locker room that she'll step up to anybody even Mercedes Martinez.

Candice LeRae was attacked by the NXT women's champions and Indi Hartwell wasn't there to help Candice for obvious reasons.

Later in the night, LeRae came out of the beating miserable as f**k.

Call me a piece of sh*t or whatever but I'm glad that Candice got the beating. Let my girl Indi date whoever she wants!

Kushida vs Oney Lorcan For The NXT Cruiserweight Championship.

After Kushida retained the championship, the champ took a 3 on 1 beating from Legado De La Fantasma until Msk made the save.

Wished that the match would last just a little bit longer but as a whole, the match was good.

Mercedes Martinez is calling out Raquel Gonzalez. Why? For a championship shot, of course.

Imperium vs Ever-Rise.

During the match, the odd couple in Drake Maverick and Killian Dain showed up for a fight.

Despite the shenanigans on the outside, Imperium picked up the victory. Meh.

Kyle O'Reilly vs Cameron Grimes.

Before O'Reilly made his way to the ring, he stared at Karrion Kross for a good minute.

Throughout the match, Grimes was aiming at the injured neck of O'Reilly.

This was a hard-hitting main event encounter and I like it. O'Reilly wins with a knee strike from the top rope on Grimes' neck.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The opening segment, Kushida vs Oney Lorcan, the Io Shirai interview, Sarray vs Zoey Stark, Kyle O’Reilly vs Cameron Grimes.

Didn't like: The Way NOT ALLOWING INDI TO DATE DEXTER LUMIS. LEAVE HER ALONE YOU ABSOLUTE GOOFBALLS (if you can't tell, I'm joking here but for real though).

WWE Wrestlemania 26 | A Coherent Review.

I've teased a mystery review on my Facebook page (which you can click here to follow us) and that mystery has now been unveiled. It's Wrestlemania 26. This review was delayed and was supposed to be up last Monday but at least is now up. Also, The first draft of this review was 7 pages long so strap in. By far, the longest review on this very website.  I thought it would be fitting to review a Wrestlemania from a decade back and how do I feel about it? It was a show that if you watched it, you're most likely going to have a good time. It was a mix of great things but terrible things at the same time as most shows.  The 26th edition of Wrestlemania took place in the University of Phoenix Stadium in the Phoenix suburb of Glendale, Arizona on March 28th, 2010.  The commentators were Micheal Cole, Jerry Lawler and Matt Striker. Honestly, Striker was pretty good and a far better colour commentator than Lawler was on this show (even today, Lawler is still bleh on commen...

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

Let's Talk About The State Of Wrestlemania 37.

I usually save those kinds of pieces for my weekly news series, The 5 News Week due to how modern this subject is and how my essays usually dwell on the past.  Usually, it is too early to talk about an upcoming Wrestlemania in October but not this time especially since we're still in a pandemic.  This is a topic I've been thinking about all month and I had to write my thoughts on it.  Let's answer this question right away whether Wrestlemania 37 will happen in SoFii stadium next year?  from CBS Los Angeles The answer is an obvious no. But, I want to try to dig deeper and see exactly where we stand today.  As of me writing this, Wrestlemania: Hollywood edition is still scheduled to take place in SoFi stadium despite an outlet that shall not be named, claiming otherwise.  This is either sheer blind optimism or downright idiotic from Dubya, Dubya E.  WrestleVotes did mention back in July that while the event is still going to take place in the stadium,...
