WWE Smackdown 30/10/20 | A Coherent Review.

Happy Halloween and I, as usual, didn't dress up because why not, right?

Now, how was Smackdown? It was pretty decent but this ain't a WWE show without one bad segment.

Roman Reigns Tells Jey Uso To Fall In Line.

Jey Uso passionately told his cousin that he ain't falling in line for Roman Reigns.

Reigns, however, calmly told Jey that all of the family is behind him and if he didn't join him then Jey is out of the family.

Jey then shouts, "I hate you! Why you gotta do me like that, man?"

Roman Reigns is so good playing a f'ing d**k especially when he didn't sympathize as to what Jey was going through in this scene.

This segment was shorter than I expected to be honest. Nevertheless, I loved it.

Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler. Smackdown Survivor Series Team Qualifying Match.

It's Survivor Series time which means it's red vs blue for "brand supremacy".

Why does Survivor Series have to be about "brand supremacy"? They might as well bring back Bragging Rights.

This "brand supremacy" stuff literally has no high stakes in them.

Anywho, the match between Owens and Ziggler was aight.

Kevin Owens qualified for the SmackDown's Survivor Series team with the stunner.

In an exclusive interview with Corey Graves to Lars Sullivan, WWE somehow had to add the word "freak" because why not?

I gotta be honest, I wasn't paying attention due to the fact that it was boring in my opinion.

Bianca Belair vs Natalya vs Billie Kay. Winner Qualifies For The SmackDown Women's Survivor Series Team.

Adam Pearce made this match up in a backstage segment where Bianca Belair, Natalya and Billie Kay where they were stating their reasons as to why they should be in the women's Survivor Series team.

To the surprise of no one, Bianca Belair qualified for Survivor Series with the KOD.

Carmella is getting a re-debut next week. I'm glad Carmella is back.

I absolutely loved her as a bad guy so I'm hoping they bring back her heel persona.

Murphy Tries To Apologize To The Mysterio Family.

Murphy was out here wanting to apologize to Rey and Dominik Mysterio in front of them.

Out came not Dominik or Rey Mysterio but rather Seth Rollins and he simply told Murphy that Rey and Dominik will never forgive Murphy.

However, Rollins does accept Murphy and Aalyah for who they are.

After Dominik attacked Seth Rollins from outta nowhere, Rey and Dominik decided to beat up Murphy but Aalyah stopped them from further beating the guy.

BECCCCCAUSE, she loves him and gave Murphy a kiss. Woah, Woah, Woah, Woah, Woah.

Aalyah's acting is laughably bad. Please end this storyline for God's sake?

The Street Profits vs Cesaro And Shinsuke Nakamura.

This match was fun, fun, fun. Street Profits wins with from the heavens to Nakamura.

In a backstage promo, Sami Zayn said that he represents all continents because he is the Intercontinental champion while his Survivor Series opponent Bobby Lashley, represents one miserable country.

Thank God he didn't bring up his history with Bobby Lashley.

The only time I appreciate WWE's lack of continuity.

Sasha Banks Puts The Past Behind Her.

Until Bayley showed up to tell Banks that she can't keep a title to which she challenged Banks to a match for the blue belt and the boss accepted the challenge.

Will see what happens in that championship match next week. Also, Sasha's outfit? GOR. GEOUS.

Jey Uso vs Daniel Bryan. Smackdown Survivor Series Team Qualifying Match.

Jey was aggressive throughout most of the match for obvious reasons.

After Jey Uso defeated Daniel Bryan to qualify for the men's Survivor Series team, he decided to fall in line with Roman Reigns by beating up Daniel Bryan even more.

If you told me that Jey Uso would turn heel a few weeks ago, I would dislike it.

But, based on the context of the opening segment as well as the Hell In A Cell match, Jey's turn to the dark side fits the overall arc. Jey accepts his new situation and makes the best out of it.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: The opening segment, Street Profits vs Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura, the ending.

Didn't like: Lars Sullivan interview, Aliyah/Seth Rollins/Mysterio Family/Murphy storyline.

My Coherent Wrestling Wednesdays: Chris Jericho Offers Moxley To Join Inner Circle, The Go-Home Show Before Dec 18th.

I thought the middle act of AEW Dynamite suffered some pacing issues even though it was overall a much stronger show than last week's episode.  The latest episode of NXT, however, has built a solid foundation on what's to come on December 18th. The main question is, which show do I like better? The answer is AEW.  NXT  Highlights. Angel Garza vs Lio Rush For The NXT Cruiserweight Championship.  Was this match better than their first encounter? Like Snoop Dogg's verse in Sasha Banks' theme song, "Hell yea". Garza slams Rush hard on the ring apron by pushing the champ. Moments later, Garza delivers the Spanish Fly and Rush kicked out of that.  As Rush hits the frog splash, the champ wanted to pull him back in the middle of the ring but instead, he ripped off Garza's pants (nice attention to detail).  Angel then hits the wind clipper but Lio kicked out which led to a wind clipper submission and the man of the hour tapped out which m...

The 5 News Week: An Interview With ROH's Eli Isom, Fans Singing Petitions For Charlotte Flair Not Winning Titles Anymore!?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately. Without further ado, here are the 5 news week. An Interview With ROH's Eli Isom.  Yes. After several and several and several of The 5 News Week articles that I've been putting out since late 2018, I finally got an interview for you guys.  The person in question is Ring Of Honour's Eli Isom. Since graduating from the ROH Dojo, Isom has worked and learned from the absolute best in the industry:  "I’m lucky that I got a chance to train from scratch with ROH, without that kind of training who knows where I’d be right now." So, without further ado, here is the conversation I had with Eli.  Omar: My first question is, how would you describe the persona of "Eli Isom" to resident WWE shills like myself? Eli Isom: For me, my wrestling persona isn’t too far off from who I real...

A Brief Guide To Pro Wrestling Websites.

So. You just become a fan of pro wrestling and have dabbled into the fandom for a bit (it's a mess ain't it?) You've just followed some news sites' social media platforms but aren't sure whether the articles they put out are accurate or not.  Well, you got the right guy to solve that problem if it's from a blog that barely gets any traction (that would be me in case you were confused).  The news we get from the medium that is pro wrestling is an integral part of the online space.  The reason being is that it's not only a great conversation starter but you could also learn something new today about the industry you love.  That doesn't mean that all of the news you see on the timeline is reliable.  I'm here to hopefully give you a guide to wrestling sites.  There are many wrestling websites out there but I wanna highlight some of the notable ones.  Okay? Here we go.  #1: Wrestling Observer Newsletter aka F4WOnline.  I can't talk about a guide t...
