WWE RAW 29/6/20 | A Coherent Review.

I had more positives than negatives on this latest edition of Monday Night RAW. In other words, it was a good show.  Two Contract Signings At The Same Time.  The episode started off with a brawl between Sasha Banks and her Extreme Rules: Horror Show opponent, Asuka but then, out came the challenger for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules: Horror Show, Dolph Ziggler.  After Asuka and Sasha Banks finally settled down, it turned into a double contract signing. Ziggler told Drew that if it wasn't for him, McIntyre wouldn't be the wrestler that he is today.  McIntyre responded, mentioning their friendship but that story would turn the other side once Extreme Rules comes our way. Asuka Interrupts Dolph, says something in Japanese aka the best promo ever.  Sasha Banks, making the RAW women's championship official by putting the stamp in the contract paper. Legit Boss sh*t bruh. That led to a tease of a brawl.  I appreciate the uniqueness of the o

The 5 News Week: WWE Backstage. Cancelled Or Nah?, Liv Morgan's Re-Debut Was Supposed To Be Different!?

I'm back on my BS because it's The 5 News Week where I report on the 5 major or minor news of the week hence the name "T he 5 News Week".  Sorry for the week of absence. I took a week off of social media (except YouTube) due to the sadness I felt when reading those brave women and men tell their stories about the awful, terrible experiences they've had after their interactions with notable people in the industry.  It made me question my fandom and whether I should be in the industry (wrestling media-wise) knowing that they are asshats that will take an advantage on people for no reason other than more power and control.  This week proves that the business needs to wash all the old tropes that make it harder for people to express what's really going on especially when it pertains  to serious issues like sexual assault, racism, sexism etc.  I'm hoping that those stories will lead to a sudden change in every aspect of this profession and other prof

WWE RAW 15/6/20 | A Coherent Review.

A lot of things happened on this episode of Monday Night RAW. Are most of it good though? Not really. There were a lot of skippable matches that didn't need to be written into the show. But, Overall, the show was okay.  Randy Orton Challenges A Certain Veteran To An Unsanctioned Match.  Orton wanted to thank Edge for lighting up inside him and confidentially stated that Edge might come back in July. July 2029 that is.  Out came Christian and he said that Edge will be back better than ever because Christian's bestie never gives up.  Orton thought that Christian showing up was a way for Captain Charisma to challenge him for a match so Randy did just that but with a stipulation.  That stipulation is an unsanctioned match which means no count outs and no disqualifications.  An hour later, Christian actually agreed to Orton's unsanctioned match.  This entire night had me guessing and you know what, having more questions than answers after watchin

WWE Backlash 2020 | A Coherent Review.

Overall, a decent PPV that was highlighted by a few good matches and one greatest match (yea, yea, the pun is worn out already but I just had to).  As a tradition on this site, I've not seen the pre-show match, however, I've heard it was solid.  Bayley And Sasha Banks vs Alexa Bliss And Nikki Cross vs The IIconics For The Women's Tag Team Championship.  A decent opening match of the evening. Peyton Royce did a unique crossbody onto every participant in the match.  Moments later, Royce and Billie Kay did their double team move on Sasha Banks but you know who also did a double team move?  Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss with a double team DDT on Peyton Royce.  As soon as Bliss hits the Twisted Bliss on Peyton Royce, Sasha Banks quickly rolled Alexa up for the victory and retained dos straps.  The tag team championship reign of the golden role models continues (No sh*t, Omar). Also, I wanna briefly speak on the Alexa Bliss situation.  She for the pas
