WWE RAW 18/11/19 | My Coherent Review.

Monday Night RAW was live once more and it was an improvement from whatever the hell was last week's show. Samoa Joe on commentary was good and he didn't add anything in terms of match stats but he was like that friend that reacts to what's going on a TV show in an entertaining way.

Becky Lynch Calls Out Shayna Baszler And Bayley.

WWE Photo
The Man opens RAW for the second week in a row and like the header above, she not only calls out Shayna Baszler and Bayley out but she thought that it would be sweet if she brawls with her Survivor Series opponents in the city this episode took place in which is Boston, MA.

The IIconics came out to tell Lynch that the future is them. Charlotte Flair showed up to promote a match she's a part of in the triple threat Survivor Series 5 man tag team match leading to Samoa Joe coming out to join the commentary team. An okay segment.

Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch vs The IIconics.

WWE Photo
The Australian duo lost the match and then, Shayna and the gang beat up the losers of the match. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair rushed back to the ring and they (Lynch and Flair) ate a beating from Shayna and the gang and the gang eventually ran.

WWE Photo

Lynch and Flair tried to chase them but they were stopped by a bunch of security guards and Becky sucker-punched one of the security guards which looked painful. The aftermath of this match was way more interesting than the match itself but again, that punch. Boy, I feel sorry for the guy.

Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins encountered AOP during Ryder and Hawkins' interview and it turned ugly from here and that ugliness was a beating from AOP.

Humberto Carrillo vs Karl Anderson.

WWE Photo
The Street Profits came out to even the odds in Carrillo's match with one of the members and thanks to Angelo Dawkins avoiding an interface from Luke Gallows, Humberto Carrillo won the match with the small package. A decent match surprisingly.

Seth Rollins had an interview with Charly Caruso about his upcoming match with Andrade and he was asked why he put his Survivor Series team spot on the line? He replied basically saying that he's not backing down for a fight and a real leader takes challenges.

Bobby Lashley vs No Way Jose.

WWE Photo
Lashley won the match with a full Nelson submission which is odd given that he exceeded Chris Masters' full Nelson submission challenge many moons ago. I doubt that was an easter egg but it was interesting to point out.

Seth Rollins vs Andrade.

WWE Photo
Zelina Vega was booted out of the match by the referee after what the ref saw Vega tried to pull out a hurricanrana to Rollins.

Andrade plants Rollins with three amigos and Seth survived that. Seth was about to hit the frog splash I assume and he was pushed to the outside by Lucha House Party, ending the match in a DQ.

WWE Photo

Andrade and Rollins eventually teamed up to throw out Lucha House Party over the top rope. A very good match with an okay ending. I would've given Andrade the win, to be honest for that unpredictable factor but it is what it is.

Buddy Murphy vs Akira Tozawa.

WWE Photo
Tozawa hits the senton from the top rope to Murphy but that beautiful move wasn't enough to defeat the best kept secret because he lost the match with Murphy's Law.

Buddy Murphy reached Aleister Black's room door given that he's been reaching out to Black before his match with Tozawa and Black opened the door and stared at Murphy. Who doesn't want to see that match happen soon is the real question?

WWE Photo
Erick Rowan squashed a jobber and he left the ring with that covered object assuming it's a bird or a plane but not superman (boy, that was bad) and a bunch of 24/7 championship shenanigans. Meanwhile, Randy Orton challenged The Viking Raiders with a partner of Orton's choosing in his interview with Charly Caruso.

Kevin Owens vs Drew McIntyre.

WWE Photo
Owens threw himself onto McIntyre with the cannonball outside the ring. Drew then delivered what it looks like the Attitude Adjustment to Owens on the ring apron hard.

Drew hits the Claymore kick and Owens puts his foot on the ropes which Owens delivered the stunner and McIntyre puts his foot on the bottom rope.

As soon as Kevin Owens hits the stunner for the second time, Triple H's music hits and the match abruptly ended. Hunter verbally puts over Owens convincing him to join team NXT. Unfortunately, Owens was attacked by Undisputed Era while the rest of RAW were fighting with the rest of NXT. I didn't like how this fantastic match ended like that but the overall segment was decent though. It did its job of building Survivor Series.

WWE Photo

Charly Caruso interviewed Humberto Carrillo about his US title match against AJ Styles. Paul Heyman cut a promo basically saying that Rey should fear the WWE champion, Brock Lesnar. Charly asked her next guest in Rey Mysterio to respond and he first complimented Carrillo then, he said that he'll hunt Brock down in Chicago. That was a good promo from Mysterio and that's all I gotta say.

Asuka vs Natalya.

WWE Photo

The empress of tomorrow kicked Natalya's head off with a roundhouse kick. This was alright.

The Viking Raiders vs Randy Orton And A Mystery Partner.

WWE Photo
Orton picked somebody that he had some misunderstanding with and that's Ricochet which was expected to counter Samoa Joe’s reaction to Randy's pick.

WWE Photo
Team Smackdown ended the second match of the night and it turned into literal carnage to quote Woody Harrelson in the movie Venom when NXT and the rest of RAW came. Meh.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Rey Mysterio promo, Kevin Owens vs Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins vs Andrade, Samoa Joe on commentary.

Didn't like: How the match between Owens and McIntyre ended.

WWE RAW 9/5/22 | A Coherent Review.

Yes, I didn't review Wrestlemania Backlash because one, I knocked out after a long day and two, why not? I did watch the show and it's like an episode of a Telltale game in that it's short and sweet.  How was the red brand this week?  Even though Wrestlemania Backlash is over, it still feels like I'm watching a build toward that show. It's like eating yesterday's leftovers with some fresh salad on the side, ya know. I'm hoping Hell In A Cell concludes everything.  The Street Profits vs RKBRO For The RAW Tag Team Championship.  Hey, look. A good tag team match, playas! Yes, they've fought each other more times than Call Of Duty sequels but like I said, I enjoyed it. RKBRO retained the championship with an RKO from Riddle to Montez Ford.  Rhea Ripley Is Now An Evil Goth Girl.  She said, "f**k them, kids". Also, why's Edge rocking the "I believe in white genocide" look? Ripley had a match with Liv Morgan and of course, she won the w...

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...
