WWE NXT 29/5/19 | My Coherent Review.

This episode was aight but it's usually like that when a Takeover is less than a few days away.

Mia Yim vs Bianca Belair.

A rematch from 3 weeks ago which was a decent match. Was that better? Not really. At one point during the match, Mia Yim delivered a code Yim which is a snap sunset flip. The match ends with Mia hit a protect ya neck to Belair and she got a huge victory over the EST of NXT.

I don't know where Bianca Belair goes from here but I hope NXT build Belair with some momentum.

After a pretty good video package about the match between Tyler Breeze and Velveteen Dream (get it? pretty? Prince Pretty?), Shayna and the gang were interviewed and Baszler basically said that unlike Io Shirai, she's got friends.

Kushida vs Drew Gulak.

A very technical wrestling match. So many types of submissions being applied by both men but the match ended with a pinfall victory from Kushida with a roll-up with his legs.

I'm a big mark when it comes to technical matches and this was no exception. A very good match in my opinion.

Io Shirai was interviewed by Cathy Kelly about the numbers advantage of Shayna’s NXT championship match and Candice LeRae came out to tell Io that she has Io's back at NXT Takeover: XXV.

Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch vs The Forgotten Sons.

After the ref banned Jaxson Ryker from ringside, The Street Profits interfered ending the match in a DQ. Then, all the teams that are part of the ladder match brawled with each other but The Undisputed Era came back strong with ladder shots to Jaxson Ryker and Adam Cole ended this episode of NXT by saying that Takeover 25 will be Undisputed.

Predictable ending but it's to be expected when you're building up those kinds of matches.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos:

Like: Kushida vs Drew Gulak.

Didn't Like: Nothing.

Just like what I did when I reviewed the NXT before Takeover: New York, I'm gonna put my quick predictions and here we go:

Matt Riddle vs Roderick Strong.

My Prediction: Matt takes the ice cream cake on this one.

Velveteen Dream vs Tyler Breeze for the NXT North American Championship.

My prediction: Tyler is used here as a filler but it should be a great match. The Velveteen Dream retains.

Shayna Baszler vs Io Shirai for the NXT Women's championship.

My prediction: This is a tough one but I'll go with the genius of the sky.

Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch vs The Undisputed Era vs The Street Profits vs The Forgotten Sons for the NXT Tag Team Championship in a ladder match.

My prediction: A match that could steal the show by just barely 99.9999999999%. I'll go with The Undisputed Era bay bay.

Johnny Gargano vs Adam Cole for the NXT Championship.

My prediction: Johnny is still Johnny Champion after Takeover: XXV.

The 5 News Week: What's With The Story Of WWE Will Possibly Put Their Content On A Different OTT?

Hello, my fellow wrestling fans and welcome to the 5 news week. The post where I report 5 major or minor news of the week that I don't have time to do it separately.  This past week was filled with news so  fasten your virtual seat belts because this is gonna be a long one. Without further ado, here are The 5 News Week.  What's With The Story That WWE Will Possibly Put Their Content On A Different OTT?  This confusion all started when some fans (including myself) saw the headline from a well-respected publication "WWE In Talks Talks to Sell PPV Rights to Another ‘Major’ Streaming Service." That publication is The Wrap and the article pretty much talked about what Vinne Mac said in the Q4 2019 earnings report about the possibility of putting their content to a major streaming service or enhance the prize point to a tiered payment but the deal to quote The Wrap " if made — would be announced by next month.". Did the old man say this? Let...

WWE RAW 10/8/20 | A Coherent Review.

This episode when it's good, it is REALLY good but when it's awful, it is REALLY awful. A mixed bag of a show, to be honest. pictures via WWE.com Two Contract Signings? For the first time at least in my lifetime, there are two contract signing for the same one match. Anywho, it's for the Seth Rollins and Dominik Mysterio match and Samoa Joe is the moderator which by the way, he's the best one yet. Based on Seth's promo telling Mysterio's Hijo that he can use a kendo stick or anything in the toolbox, it sounds like it's a no DQ match. The best part about this engaging segment by far is Joe's promo about how Seth Rollins was a different man ever since the fans booed him. Dominik's line quote, "Seth Rollins' actions change the lives of good men for the worst" pretty much describes Seth's heel run so far and I love it. That led to a match between Humberto Carrillo and Rollins. The match was quick af. Af...

WWE RAW 7/1/19 | My Coherent Review

My first RAW review of 2019 and surprisingly, this show was decent. Now, would RAW put on decent shows in the coming weeks or months? Probably not but I hope that's the case. Now, usually on my RAW and Smackdown Live reviews, I give my thoughts on what's good, what's ok and what bad ( click here if you curious as to how the format looks like). However, since this is the new year, I'm gonna get rid of that and instead just put my in-depth thoughts just like my PPV reviews. Without further ado, on with the review.  Opening Segment The show itself started off with a brawl between Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley that lasted for a very short period of time. After that’s done, the opening segment started with John Cena and cuts a promo on how he’s gonna earn his golden ticket to Wrestlemania by entering in this year’s Royal Rumble match.  Out came Drew McIntyre and he said that Cena’s accomplishments is what Drew cares about. He then went on how he’s b...
