WWE Money In The Bank 2019 | My Coherent Predictions.

Related image
It's been *looking at the archives* six months since I've made a predictions post but I'm not gonna make excuses for it other than I'm lazy af. Now, my brief summary of this year's Money In The Bank build. Well, it's surprisingly okay with one poorly build feud which I will get to. Without further ado, here are my each match predictions for Money In the Bank 2019.

WARNING!: I posted this before the news broke out that Alexa Bliss is out of the Money In The Bank Ladder match due to injury. My new prediction on who's winning the ladder match is Mandy Rose and I'm also going to predict that she feuds with her bestie in Sonya Deville for the briefcase.

PRE SHOW: The Usos vs Daniel Bryan and Rowan for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship.

I like everybody else, don't like the “wildcard rule” for the main reason such as if WWE wants to invite Superstars from one show to another, why can't they invite all of them instead of a “limited amount of stars”?

However, by far the best thing about the “wildcard rule” was that tag team match between The Usos, Daniel Bryan and Rowan so I don't mind a rematch. Considering that The Usos are on the red brand, I gonna go with the planet's champions.

I Predict: Daniel Bryan and Rowan retain the championships.

MAIN SHOW: Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio for the United States championship.

I wish I wanna shout out that person but he or she brought up a good point that Samoa Joe is not portrayed as a badass killer assassin but rather a stocker type character which I don't mind stocker characters but I wish that he was portrayed as something better.

I will say this, the build for this match is better than the Wrestlemania one and that's not saying much. Should be a good match.

I Predict: Samoa Joe retains.

Tony Nese vs Ariya Daivari for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

This is gonna be a short prediction for this considering that I don't watch 205 live but if there's one thing I know about the cruiserweights is that they could deliver FANTASTIC matches.

I Predict: Tony Nese retains.

Becky Lynch vs Lacey Evans for the RAW Women's championship and Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Live Women's championship.

I put those matches in one because the build for the Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair match was pretty nonexistent other than Charlotte saying “YOU DIDN'T PIN ME TO WIN THOSE TITLES!” and the second reason is that WWE mostly focused on building the RAW women's championship match which makes sense given that Lacey Evans is a new talent and you gotta build her up.

I actually really enjoyed the build on the RAW side and the best part about it is that they protected Lacey Evans and made her into a worthy challenger for one of Becky Lynch's two belts. I don't see WWE taking Becky's belts anytime soon.

I Predict: Becky Lynch leaves Hartford still as Becky Two Belts.

The Miz vs Shane McMahon. Steel Cage match.

If you've been a fan of this site (which you should. Sarcasm of course), then you'll know that I really enjoyed this storyline.

Their Wrestlemania match was actually pretty good and when Shane was feuding with Roman Reigns, I was pretty disappointed that they ended the rivalry with Shane’s win at Wrestlemania but I'm glad they continued the feud. I think there's gonna be some outside interference of some sort and Shane is gonna have another victory over the A-lister.

I Predict: Shane McMahon wins via interference.

Roman Reigns vs Elias.

I'm not a fan of this feud because it reminds me of when Roman Reigns had his beef with the Authority almost 3 years ago. Also, it's interesting that Roman had a one on one match on last year's Money In The Bank PPV and this year's it's no different. I would love for Elias to win this match but it ain't happening.

I Predict: Roman Reigns gets over on this one.

Kofi Kingston vs Kevin Owens for the WWE Championship.

By far, the best storyline going into this show. Kofi Kingston has really impressed me as WWE champion so far and it goes to show you that WWE has HUGE confidence on Kofi which I was afraid and sceptical that they will end Kofi’s reign in a week but I'm glad that didn't happen.

I don't see Kevin becoming champion anytime soon. I think that the Honeymoon aka Kofi’s reign will continue.

I Predict: Kofi Kingston retains.

Seth Rollins vs AJ Styles for the Universal Championship.

This is the exact opposite of the build for the WWE championship. I hate being negative over there but this build has been straight up horrible. Full of predictable tropes when it comes to babyface vs babyface feud like having a disagree during a tag team match.

I'm sure they're gonna give us a great match but that doesn't mean I'm going to like this feud so far. We're gonna get a rematch and I'm gonna go as far as AJ Styles will turn full-fledged heel.

I Predict: Seth Rollins retains.

Men's Money In The Bank ladder match: Ricochet vs Baron Corbin vs Sami Zayn vs Drew McIntyre vs Andrade vs Finn Balor vs Ali vs Randy Orton.

I would've much preferred if WWE had qualifying matches but nevertheless, the build was fine. That ending on RAW this week was very good and it gives an unpredictable feel going into this match. I either see Drew or Andrade capturing the briefcase but if I had to predict one it would probably be The Scottish psychopath.

I Predict: Drew McIntyre captures the briefcase.

Women's Money In The Bank ladder match: Dana Brooke vs Naomi vs Natalya vs Alexa Bliss vs Bayley vs Mandy Rose vs Ember Moon vs Carmella.

This is probably the hardest match to predict simply I could see either of those women winning the match and capturing the briefcase.

I know some of you guys are gonna hate me for saying this but if I was WWE, I would have Alexa Bliss become a two time Money In The Bank ladder match winner. I don't know why but that's how I feel about this.

I Predict: Alexa Bliss captures the briefcase.

You know, this was a lot of fun. I don't know why I stopped doing this but it is what it is. Sound off your predictions in the comments below and follow the blog for honest pro wrestling opinions. Anyways, stay safe smarks.

WWE RAW 9/5/22 | A Coherent Review.

Yes, I didn't review Wrestlemania Backlash because one, I knocked out after a long day and two, why not? I did watch the show and it's like an episode of a Telltale game in that it's short and sweet.  How was the red brand this week?  Even though Wrestlemania Backlash is over, it still feels like I'm watching a build toward that show. It's like eating yesterday's leftovers with some fresh salad on the side, ya know. I'm hoping Hell In A Cell concludes everything.  The Street Profits vs RKBRO For The RAW Tag Team Championship.  Hey, look. A good tag team match, playas! Yes, they've fought each other more times than Call Of Duty sequels but like I said, I enjoyed it. RKBRO retained the championship with an RKO from Riddle to Montez Ford.  Rhea Ripley Is Now An Evil Goth Girl.  She said, "f**k them, kids". Also, why's Edge rocking the "I believe in white genocide" look? Ripley had a match with Liv Morgan and of course, she won the w...

AEW Dynamite Blood And Guts | A Coherent Review.

Another watchable episode of AEW Dynamite but this time, it features the first-ever Blood And Guts encounter. Kenny Omega And Michael Nakazawa vs Jon Moxley And Eddie Kingston.  Don Callis announced that Michael Nakazawa is going to face Mox and Kingston all by himself only for Kenny Omega to show up and compete in the match anyway.  A weird booking choice but I'm just nitpicking.  What wasn't weird was how the match ended with a double team dragon suplex into a clothesline from the duo of Mox and Kingston to Nakazawa.  Then, a beatdown ensued from Omega's Posse to Jonny Mox and Eddie Kingston. The Young Bucks vs Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston? I'm down.  It was revealed later in the night that a number one contenders match for the AEW championship is set up for next week's show between Orange Cassidy and Pac. I'm assuming AEW is saving the Hangman Page and Kenny Omega encounter for All Out?  Either way, AEW has the potential to tell an interesting story of ...

WWE Smackdown Season Premiere | A Coherent Review.

It is the season premiere of Friday night Smackdown even though WWE doesn't have an offseason.  Nevertheless, it was a decent program and had a WAY better ending than whatever the hell of an ending last year's premiere of Friday night Smackdown showed.  There isn't a women's match this week and all of the AEW fanboys are looking at this like, "sEe, WWE dOeSn't feATuRe wOmeN'S mAtChEs aLsO."  pictures via WWE.com The Season Premiere Of Smackdown 2020.  The show started off with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon highlighting the scheduled matches for Smackdown as well as the superstars.  Chaos then ensued thanks to a huge brawl. Then, the "super freak" Lars Sullivan came out and delivered the freak accident to Shorty G.  Somehow, Jeff Hardy attacked him and that led to the opening match of the night between Lars and Jeff.  You know, I'm kind of surprised that two white people in McMahon and Hemsley knew who Rick James is.  Maybe I'm igno...
