WWE RAW 9/11/20 | A Coherent Review.

I'm back from a two week Monday Night RAW review hiatus (check out my reasoning as to why) and to be honest, the show was an improvement but not by much compared to the previous weeks.

Monday Night RAW as of late, kinda feels like Smackdown before the 2016 draft in the sense that the shows are skippable.

Do you guys also feel this way? Drop it in the comments below but for now, here's my coherent review for WWE RAW.

Miz TV With The Miz And John Morrison.

The Miz was plugging his reality show until the hosts were interrupted by a pissed off Randy Orton telling Miz to cash in just to get it over with.

The guest of this week's Miz TV in Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods questioned whether the Mr Money In The Bank will coexist with the WWE Champion in the 6 man tag team match.

After Drew McIntyre showed up, a brawl happened but somehow, the bad guys stood tall in this bleh of an opening segment.

Talk about one big meh, am I right?

Elias Concert Then The Triple Threat Match Between Jeff Hardy vs Elias vs Riddle With The Winner Qualifies For The Men's RAW Survivor Series Team.

Now, my dumbass thought that his concert segments will have a band like that concert a few weeks ago just for that different feel because his solo concerts segments got stale a long time ago.

AJ Styles was watching the match and the match ended with a W from Matt Riddle.

The RAW Survivor Series team is now full and Sheamus isn't happy with Riddle as the last member of Team RAW.

Sheamus and then Braun Strowman told AJ Styles that they don't see Styles as their captain. Cool?

In a backstage promo, Retribution said that they will shut Ricochet down. That was actually a decent promo.

It is a shame that I haven't taken the stable seriously probably since day one and their big L weeks ago didn't help their case either.

Drew Gulak wanted to join the Hurt Business but after they found out that Gulak wore a clip-on tie, The Hurt Business gave the guy a beating.

That was unintentionally funny.

R Truth pinned a beat-up Drew Gulak to become the gazillionth time 24/7 champion. Coooooooooooooooooooooool.

Lana vs Shayna Baszler.

This Lana sympathy storyline is the only storyline I'm actually interested in.

Lana was about to be put through a table for the 8th time but the blondes in Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke prevented that from happening.

However, in a backstage segment, Brooke and Rose told Lana to stay out of their way.

Damn Mandy Rose. No wonder Sonya Deville didn't like you!

RAW's Survivor Series Team Meeting.

Just like last week, the red team had some dissension but Riddle tried to calm things down with cringe-worthy nicknames.

More dissension builds up to which Styles settle this by putting the good guys against the bad guys in a tag team match, Playas with Styles as the special guest referee.

The match itself was surprisingly good.  Riddle with the second pin of his of the night with a roll-up to Sheamus.

Nikki Cross gave Alexa Bliss a BIGGGGG choice, it's either Nikki or The Fiend. Harley Qui……….I mean, Alexa's answer was, of course, The Fiend.

Bobby Lashley Has A Message For The Intercontinental Champion, Sami Zayn.

MVP on behalf of his CEO, said that Bobby will throw Sami Zayn like a rag doll.

Out came Titus O'Neil and he was fired up about how The Hurt Business treated him after he offered his skills to the Hurt Business and challenged Bobby to a match for the US championship.

Lashley accepted it and the match quickly ended with the hard lock.

I didn't expect Titus O'Neil to cut a good promo but I did expect him to lose this title match (yea, no sh*t, Omar).

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus talked about old times in a backstage scene which was nice.

Asuka vs Nia Jax.

Asuka won the match via a DQ thanks to Shayna putting her boot on Asuka's back.

Asuka, Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke were taken out somehow and the consequence was Lana being successfully put through the announce table.

Apparently, WWE and friendships (at least on the babyface side) can't coexist.

A 7-Way 24/7 Championship Match.

This was basically Jobberville. Oh, and Akira, Erik of the Viking Raiders, Drew Gulak, Tucker, Drew Gulak again, Tucker again, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado and R Truth again were all 24/7 champions.

Coooooool.

Angel Garza in a backstage promo, pretty much said that he will give his rose to all the women. It was aight.

Mustafa Ali vs Ricochet.

By the way, I'm glad that Tom Phillips, Bryon Saxton and Samoa Joe pronounced Mustafa's name correctly.

Unfortunately, the ring announcer can't follow suit. It isn't too late my guy.

Nitpicking aside, the match was to quote Booker T, GOOODT.

That backstabber by Mustafa from the top rope was beautiful.

The match concluded with the koji clutch from Mustafa Ali to win the match after Ali got out of Ricochet's 630 splash.

Drew McIntyre And The New Day vs Randy Orton, The Miz And John Morrison.

This was just fine. Nothing too unique happened in this 6 man tag bout.

Drew got the win for his team in the New Day with the claymore kick on to Johnny WWE.

So, to recap for all of you slow mofos.

Like: Riddle and Keith Lee vs Sheamus and Braun Strowman, Titus O'Neil promo in the MVP/Bobby Lashley in-ring segment, Mustafa Ali vs Ricochet.

Didn't like: A whole lotta nothing, for the most part, the RAW Survivor Series Team Meeting.

WrestleFest DXB's Fahrenheit 971 | A Coherent W.

Being a fan of pro wrestling (or any other medium of entertainment) does have its pros and cons when engaging with the industry as a whole.  On one hand, you've witnessed an Eddie Kingston promo that'll make you tear up more than the opening scene of Up.  On the other hand, going to the wrestling subreddit will definitely have you questioning humanity as a whole and the fact that living in an area where a wrestling presence pretty much doesn't exist like a Vince Russo-written storyline that is, you know, GOOD!?  Luckily, the latter retracted my con as a fan because I'm talking about Wrestlefest DXB and their latest joint, "971 Fahrenheit".  Martin Bushby of now Post Wrestling Alumni brought the event to my attention because like a wrestler on an episode of RAW I get distracted all the time.  So, I decided to take a short journey to a taxi then a bus then a train then a 30-minute walk to the show itself and I know I'm going to sound biased as f**k but I l...

Let's Talk About The White Rabbit In The Room.

I haven't reviewed last year's show mainly because it was so good and clearly as extreme as any ECW match and I'm happy to tell all 3 of y'all that this one is better by several inches or so. Why? *slaps my bald head* HERE'S WHY. The opening match between Sheamus and Gunther's crew ruled harder than the Mongolian empire.  It was basically an enhanced version of Sheamus' match with Gunther last night on Smackdown and I loved it.  The Brawling Brutes' victory means one thing that is clearly obvious, a rematch between Sheamus and Gunther for the intercontinental championship aka the only series of rematches I don't mind.  Ronda Rousey and Liv Morgan delivered in what was a wrestling match equivalent to the X-Men Dark Phoenix movie.  While Bianca Belair and Bayley had their equivalent to the first Iron Man movie in that it was decent.  Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross had an okay edition of the "Meaty men slapping meat".  That spear from Edge to...

A Few Thoughts On RAW And Smackdown: RAW wasn't GREAT!?

Since this blog will be less of a priority now considering I'm focusing on my podcast now (hit the 5 stars on Apple Podcast you sons of b*tches), I decided to share my few thoughts on RAW, Smackdown, I guess?  Smackdown.  The blue brand delivered yet another good episode this week and it's probably due to the fact that Braun Strowman taking out the Maximum Model is high-key funny as f**k.  The folks over at Titan Towers are bringing back the essence of their characters whether it's Kevin Owens, Shayna Baszler or in this case, Big Braun himself.   As a fan, you gotta love it, especially since in the case of Strowman, the dude hasn't been the same since he turned heel 4 years ago when feuding with Roman Reigns for the universal title.   Other noteworthy segments include Logan Paul challenging Roman Reigns for the big world universal multiverse galactic cinematic championship.  Imagine they pulled that match off 7 years ago back when Logan was on V...
